About Mary

Hi! I'm (Mary)Cathy Peters. I had severe hypoglycemia as a child and was morbidly obese at the age of 30 and lost over 100lbs so I understand nutrition challenges because I've lived them. I specialize in GLP-1 medications (Wegovy, Ozempic, Mounjaro, Zepbound), bariatric surgery, and hormonal health (thyroid, PCOS, menopause). I also help with digestive disorders, diabetes, and autoimmune conditions. My approach is judgment-free and personalized. No restrictive diets or cookie-cutter plans—just sustainable strategies that fit your life. In our sessions, we'll build an actionable plan based on your story and goals. We'll track progress, troubleshoot challenges, and celebrate wins together. When not working, I enjoy jewelry making, hiking, and cheering at FSU football games. My daughter teaches there! Ready? Book your session today.

Approach to care

I believe nutrition care should be supportive, personalized, and judgment-free. Your past attempts don't define your future success. We'll co-create sustainable strategies that fit your life, not hand you rigid meal plans. I blend evidence-based research with real-world solutions, focusing on small, consistent changes. We address not just what you eat, but why, when, and how, including stress, sleep, and emotional factors. I don't use ideal body weights. We'll define success based on how you feel. You'll leave every session with clear, actionable steps. Because I've walked my own 100-pound weight loss journey, I understand your challenges. You're a partner in this process.

How We'll Work Together: We'll co-create sustainable strategies that fit your life, not hand you a rigid meal plan. My approach blends evidence-based research with real-world practicality, focusing on progress over perfection. We address the whole picture—what you eat, why, when, and how, including stress, sleep, and emotional factors. I don't use ideal body weights. We'll define success based on how you feel and what matters to you. My Promise: You'll leave every session with clear, actionable steps.
