About Mary
Hi, my name is Mary and I have been a Registered Dietitian since 2004. I worked for many years in the hospital setting providing clinical nutrition care relating to a variety of chronic health conditions. I also have worked in outpatient oncology, helping patients with eating difficulties and nutrition support needs related to cancer. Most recently I have focused on nutrition in chronic kidney disease, working as a renal dietitian in a dialysis center.
Approach to care
I believe that achieving good health is balance of diet and lifestyle. By stepping back and looking at the whole person, not just one diagnosis, is the first step in setting realistic goals to achieve a healthier, happier life, helping you feel your best and live your best life. My approach is to help you understand how what you eat is correlated to the goals you strive to reach.
Your first session with Mary
Together we will discuss the goals you wish to achieve, what has and has not worked for you in the past. We will discuss past medical history and any pertinent labs you may have available. We will discuss actions that would best work for you to help meet your nutrition related goals.
