About Marybeth
Hi, I’m Marybeth. I'm an experienced dietitian and enjoy my career. I think the human body is amazing, (especially our kidneys) and a big part of this journey of care of the body is keeping our health a priority which will certainly involve the food habits we develop and live with day by day. I am here to support you. I am Board Certified in Renal Nutrition. I work two days a week in a dialysis center and see the need for nutrition intervention in the earlier stages of kidney disease which can help so much. Diabetes and high blood pressure are the biggest drivers of kidney disease and I am confident people can manage these well with the right support.
Approach to care
My care is built on evidence based, empathetic partnership. I ground every plan in current science while staying nonjudgmental, meeting you where you are. We’ll work together to create clear steps you can act on, with accountability that fits your life. I practice with a weight neutral, focusing on sustainable habits and your well being beyond a number on the scale.
Your first session with Marybeth
Our first appointment is all about you. We’ll review your medical history, discuss your lab work and biometrics, and establish short term goals that feel doable. We’ll also take time to hear what’s important to you in our time together and talk about how we’ll measure progress. It’s a low pressure, collaborative conversation where you don’t need to have it all figured out. You’ll leave with a sense of direction and the first steps we’ll take together.
