About Maryssa
Hi, I'm Maryssa! Helping people create the healthiest version of themselves is what drew me to nutrition. I bring four years as a Registered Dietitian and a Masters degree in Nutritional Sciences, with experience across clinical hospital care, sports nutrition, community health, and outpatient renal settings. I combine clinical training with practical, real-life strategies, and I’m here to be your biggest hype girl and someone to lean on. When I’m off the clock you’ll find me golfing, in hot yoga or Pilates, or crafting something to keep my hands busy.
Approach to care
Together we'll translate current science into clear, doable steps that fit your life. I practice through a Health At Every Size, weight-neutral lens, focusing on behaviors, wellbeing, and sustainable change rather than quick fixes. My style is warm and nonjudgmental, but also direct and action-oriented, so you leave sessions with practical tasks and the knowledge behind them. I look at the whole person, supporting mental, emotional, and physical health while empowering you to make informed choices long term.
Your first session with Maryssa
Expect a relaxed, judgment-free visit where we review your medical history and talk through what matters most to you. We’ll discuss your routines, wins, frustrations, and what you’d like to change, then set one or two short-term goals that feel manageable. You don’t need to have everything figured out beforehand — we’ll build momentum together, and I’ll be cheering you on while keeping progress realistic and sustainable.
