About Massiel
Hi, I'm Massiel. I'm a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator with five years of experience translating science into practical, sustainable habits. I hold a Masters in Education and a Bachelors in Dietetics, and I work across clinical hospital settings and community health programs. As a CDCES and RD, I blend medical guidelines with real world planning to support lasting change. When I’m not meeting with clients, you’ll find me in a Zumba class, crocheting, walking, or crafting. I’m passionate about teaching you how to make the best choices for your condition and your life, with warmth and no judgment.
Approach to care
My care philosophy blends evidence based science with empathetic partnership. I translate current research into clear, doable steps and we celebrate progress at every pace. I practice with a holistic lens, looking at sleep, stress, movement, and meals as parts of a bigger picture. I uphold a health at every size mindset and prioritize sustainable habits over quick fixes. Educational by nature, I invite questions and explain the why behind each plan so you feel confident making choices that fit your life. I’ll walk beside you and together we’ll build lasting health.
Your first session with Massiel
Our first appointment is a warm, non judgmental conversation about you. We'll review your medical history and any recent lab work or biometrics, then discuss your goals, challenges, and daily routines. You don’t need to have it all figured out yet. We’ll take it step by step and leave with 1 to 2 practical, personalized goals you can start before our next visit. I’ll support you as we map a sustainable plan that respects your life, values, and health needs.
