About Matthew
Matthew is a registered dietitian with clinical experience in medical ICUs, organ transplant care, and weight management. With a culinary background that began at age 16 in both local and award-winning kitchens, he combines nutrition science with real-world cooking skills to help people prepare healthy, budget-friendly meals without spending hours in the kitchen.
Approach to care
My approach to nutrition is client-centered. I focus on seeing you as a whole personânot just someone looking to âdietââand work with you to achieve your health goals, no matter where you are in your journey. I strive to provide a judgment-free space with evidence-based recommendations tailored to your individual needs.
Your first session with Matthew
In our first session, weâll focus on getting to know youâyour background, goals, and relationship with food. Weâll then review your medical history, medications and supplements, as well as your current eating and movement habits. Based on our conversation, Iâll offer personalized, evidence-based recommendations, which may include strategies such as keeping a food journal or setting specific calorie or macronutrient goals tailored to your individual needs.
