About Maura
Hi, my name is Maura! I was born and raised in WV. I am a cat mom to two wonderful kitties. I have been a practicing dietitian for 2.5 years working with women, children and infants. My passion is helping people live a healthier lifestyle with health forward, body neutral nutrition education.
Approach to care
My approach to care includes research supported, goal oriented nutrition education that will help you to create and maintain healthful habits. It is my goal to personalize each nutrition education session to the individual client's wants and needs. I strive to create a comfortable, safe and educational space that fosters an environment conducive to learning, growing, improving one's relationship with food and improving overall health outcomes.
Your first session with Maura
During our first session, I will take time to get to know you and hear your story. We will discuss your health history, lifestyle, eating habits, relationship with food and exercise, any concerns or questions you may have and what you would like to gain from our time together. We will work together to create simple, individualized goals that make sense for your life and help you to begin your health journey.
