Patient reviews
“McKenna has an easy conversational way of explaining aspects of diet and suggesting paths to reach my goals. Her wide background as a dietian and triathlete has been perfect for helping me fuel to maintain a 60 lbs. weight loss and new training life style. I am grateful for her help and patience. I could not recommend her higher. Thank you to Nourish for making McKenna easily available online. “

“McKenna is very empathetic when I'm not a very good patient!“
About Mckenna
I have been working as a dietitian since 2018 in a variety of settings, including outpatient sports medicine, general wellness, university, and childhood wellness. As a board certified sports dietitian and exercise physiologist, I specialize in working with all levels of athletes as well as improving health measures in the general population through sustainable lifestyle change.
Approach to care
I value a holistic approach that starts with a big-picture view of wellness (including nutrition, exercise, stress, etc.). This perspective helps clients determine which area needs the most attention for improving well-being and nutrition's role in this. Sustainable lifestyle change that embraces a journey of growth will equip people to live a higher-quality life. I utilize intuitive eating and stress management principles in this process to help develop a sense of gratitude for all kinds of foods and how they collectively create a well-nourished mind and body. There is no one perfect way to eat and developing the appropriate mindset and understanding of food is crucial for lasting success.
Your first session with Mckenna
You can expect me to ask you a lot of questions as I get to know you in the first session. These can range from goals, struggles, and things you've tried, to having you share a glimpse into the dynamics of an average day in your life, such as work/exercise/family schedule and typical eating routine. The more I know about you, the more I can personalize my recommendations to fit your needs! In the second half of the session, we shift to having me share tools that can help you get started in moving toward sustainable habit change.
