About McKenzie

McKenzie is a Registered Dietitian and entrepreneur with over 5 years of experience working with patients in a variety of settings to help improve their lives through nutrition, movement, and other health behaviors. She specializes in empowering her patients to transform their mindset around food and fitness so that they can finally find their unique balance and build sustainable habits that improve their whole health.

Approach to care

McKenzie utilizes science-based strategies for building habits to support her patients in making healthy changes that last. Sustainability and balance are her two guide posts when it comes to working with her patients to create change. She incorporates key strategies, such as mindfulness and self-compassion, into her nutrition counseling sessions to help patients develop a more mindful and intuitive approach to food and fitness. She also assists patients in identifying their limiting thoughts and beliefs that may be preventing them from making and maintaining the changes that they need to in order to improve their whole health.

Your first session with McKenzie

McKenzie seeks to build a collaborative relationship with her patients in order to build an approach that is truly centered to what her patient wants and needs in order to improve their physical and mental health through nutrition and other healthy habits. She dedicates the first session to gathering important information about her patient's values, goals, challenges, and previous experiences in order to provide meaningful and personalized support in crafting the patient's plan for effective and sustainable change.
