About Meagan
After several years in the hospital setting, Meagan transitioned into outpatient counseling once she realized that her passion was in connecting with patients and spending more meaningful time with them one-on-one. The expansive knowledge gained while working in these fast-paced clinical areas gives her the ability to provide effective, thorough, and evidence-based care to work with patients through all of their nutrition needs. In particular, she has a passion for working with neurodivergent individuals who will benefit from especially patient and compassionate guidance throughout their nutrition journey.
Approach to care
First and foremost, it is Meagan's priority to establish what your personal goals are and what steps you are comfortable taking to reach them. Your preferences, past experiences, time, energy, and lifestyle are all taken into account in order to optimize and personalize your plan of care. Using this patient-led approach, you are in the driver's seat and Meagan is there as a passenger to help guide you each step of the way! What makes her counseling style so successful is her understanding that there are no "bad excuses," just barriers that have yet to be identified and addressed with highly-individualized nutrition intervention plans.
Your first session with Meagan
You will begin by establishing where youβre starting and where you want to end up. Meagan wants to know what nutrition success looks like to you so she can formulate an effective plan to navigate you there. Making long-term sustainable nutrition changes is about more than just technical knowledge. Meagan will work patiently with you to develop personalized behavior change strategies, which often requires a lot of self-reflection and introspection. Working with a provider who is unwaveringly committed to creating a non-judgmental and all-inclusive environment is an integral part in the success of that process. LGBTQIA+ friendly space - you'll never have to worry about any judgment here.

Hobbies
When Meagan is not meeting with her patients she likes to spend whatever time she can outdoors, surrounded by everything green and hanging out with her high-energy border collie mix and cuddly cat. On weekends you might catch her bird-watching or spending a ~wild~ Saturday night crafting and listening to stand-up comedy.
