About Meagan
I’m a registered dietitian (RDN) with a background in culinary arts and professional cooking, and more than 10 years of hospital experience supporting patients with new and chronic health conditions. I specialize in diabetes, kidney disease, cancer nutrition, food allergies, GI health, weight management, intuitive eating, and practical meal preparation and cooking. I work with individuals and families who want clear, compassionate nutrition guidance that fits into busy, real life—not rigid rules or overwhelming plans.
Approach to care
My approach to nutrition counseling is supportive and realistic, with structure and accountability when you need it, and flexibility when life gets busy. I don’t believe in diets or one-size-fits-all plans. Instead, we'll focus on helping you understand how nutrition works for your body and your health condition, then translate that information into practical, doable strategies. Because of my culinary background, I place a strong emphasis on meal planning that fits your lifestyle, preferences, and cultural traditions. Whether we’re working on blood sugar management, digestive health, weight concerns, or feeding a family with different needs, my goal is to help you feel confident and capable—not restricted or judged.

In our initial visit we'll get to know one another, while identifying your goals and barriers so that we can work to create a personalized plan that feels achievable. I provide accountability when it’s helpful, encouragement when things feel challenging, and ongoing support as your needs evolve.
