About Meaghan
Hi, I’m Meaghan— a compassionate, enthusiastic, and results-driven dietitian here to help you feel your best without giving up the foods (or life) you love. With years of experience working across a wide range of health conditions and life stages, I’ve had the privilege of helping hundreds of clients improve their well-being. I specialize in diabetes care and education. Whether you’re newly diagnosed or looking to fine-tune your management, I can guide you through everything from nutrition and lifestyle to understanding your medications and tech tools like Continuous Glucose Monitors (CGMs). Beyond diabetes, I’ve supported clients with heart disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, kidney disease, GI issues (like IBS, Crohn’s, and GERD), and more. I help my clients understand health technology and how they use it to improve their everyday. I also work with clients on weight management in a sustainable, non-restrictive way that honors your health and happiness.
Approach to care
Navigating your health and nutrition can feel overwhelming — but you don’t have to do it alone. I work alongside you to create personalized, realistic strategies that support your health goals while fitting seamlessly into your lifestyle. From managing chronic conditions to boosting your everyday energy and confidence, my approach is rooted in empathy, practicality, and a deep respect for what matters most to you. No crash diets, no one-size-fits-all plans — just smart, sustainable changes that make a real difference.
Your first session with Meaghan
Just like a good first date- our first session is as much about me getting to know you, as it is about you feeling comfortable with me. I like to start off by understanding the "big picture". Food is woven into every aspect of our life, so it is important to me to understand who you are. I let you lead the conversation and tell me where you are on your wellness journey, what you're hoping to accomplish, and what has worked (or didn't work) in the past. I'll ask follow-up questions to understand your overall picture of health. Throughout the session, you should feel free to ask whatever questions you'd like. At the end of our session, we will review targeted, "bite-sized" nutrition education and help you set a few realistic goals. After this, I take the information we've discussed and come up with a wellness plan to work through together during our follow-ups. This plan will include your input at every step of the way and will make tackling your long-term goals seem feasible.
