About Meaghan
I have been a dietitian since 2011 and have love every minute of it. I spent the beginning of my career doing one on one nutrition counseling in a bariatric clinic where I was able to watch people succeed with weight loss surgery and also help patients get back on track with their healthy eating when needed. Most recently, I have spent my time in a hospital setting where I have been able to do bedside educations on multiple different conditions. My favorite part of being a dietitian is being able to teach patients healthy eating that works for them and watching them flourish.
Approach to care
My approach is listening to everyone's struggles and really hearing what they are needing help with. I want to be part of my client's team and not just telling them exactly what to do. I am very big supporter of intuitive eating and listening to what your body is telling you.
Your first session with Meaghan
For the first session, I like to really get to know my patients on a personal level. I like to spend most of the visit getting to know them, their past and current medical needs, and setting expectations so we always stay on the same page.
