About Meg

I am a Registered Dietitian and former CDCES with a clinical focus on metabolic health, lifestyle optimization, and long-term disease management and prevention. My work centers on helping patients improve blood sugar regulation, insulin sensitivity, hormone balance, inflammation, gut health, and overall energy through sustainable, evidence-based lifestyle strategies. Rather than quick fixes, I focus on building strong physiologic foundations that support metabolic stability and long-term health outcomes. I partner with patients seeking a comprehensive, individualized approach to improving metabolic function, energy, and longevity.

Approach to care

My approach is structured, personalized, and grounded in functional medicine principles. Care is organized around four foundational pillars that directly influence metabolic and overall health: Nutrition - Individualized nutrition strategies to stabilize blood sugar, improve insulin sensitivity, support gut health, and reduce inflammation. Movement - Guidance on movement patterns to support metabolic flexibility and mitochondrial health. Sleep - Practical strategies to improve sleep quality, support hormone regulation, recovery, and nervous system balance. Stress and Recovery - Tools to improve stress resilience, nervous system regulation, and recovery, all essential for metabolic and hormonal health. These pillars are addressed together, recognizing that meaningful and lasting change occurs when lifestyle factors are aligned.

Your first session with Meg

Your first visit is focused on understanding your health history, goals, and current lifestyle patterns. We will review factors such as nutrition, movement, sleep, stress, energy levels, and any metabolic and hormonal concerns you may have. During this visit, you can expect: - A thoughtful review of your current habits and health priorities. - Discussion of key lifestyle factors influencing your metabolic health. - Education to help you better understand how lifestyle patterns affect your physiology. - Initial recommendations based on clinical priorities and goals. - Development of a phased health plan outlining how additional areas will be addressed in future visits. Care is approached as an ongoing process, with follow-up visits building on earlier work as progress is made and goals evolve. You will leave the first visit with a collaborative and practical plan that is clear and sustainable, rather than overwhelming changes all at once.
