About Megan

Hey there! As a Dietitian, I believe food has the power to either set the stage for lifelong health or increase the risk of preventable disease, and I love helping people find realistic ways to make nourishing choices part of their everyday life. I’m especially passionate about supporting women through perimenopause and menopause, as well as those with prediabetes, since these seasons are such important opportunities to protect long-term health. My style is practical, supportive, and personalized. I enjoy getting into the details of your life to make healthy changes feel easier and more doable. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me with a book in hand, enjoying a walk, or taking a day trip, and I never miss the chance for a slow, quiet morning with coffee before the day begins.

Approach to care

I believe your food choices to bring you joy and energy, not stress or guilt. We’ll take a non-diet approach that focuses on creating sustainable, feel-good habits that fit your life. Working with me feels like chatting with a supportive friend. One who’s here to provide science-backed advice, cheer you on, and help you discover what works best for you. Whether you’re looking to improve your health, feel more confident in your food choices, or just find a little balance, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.

Your first session with Megan

I like to take a past, present and future approach to our first session together. We’ll talk about your past struggles with your eating habits and dieting behaviors. Then, we’ll talk about what’s currently going on with your diet and your health. We’ll talk through a typical day of eating and what you feel is already going well and what you want to improve upon. Finally, we talk about the future. We’ll clearly define one or two goals that you want to focus on until our next visit. That way you always know what the next step towards better health looks like.
