About Megan
Hi There! I'm Megan, an RDN passionate about helping people thrive. My diverse experience includes roles in food coordination & preparation, sports nutrition, cardiac rehab, diabetes, and kidney & liver transplant. I believe true health is rooted in simplicity- focusing on nourishing our bodies with whole (and delicious) foods, creating sustainable habits, and avoiding unnecessary complexity. When we pair these components with movement and connection, that’s when life's worth living! It's my goal to guide you towards realizing these qualities by helping cut through the noise of nutrition trends and rediscover how simple, balanced eating can help transform your health and well-being.
Approach to care
Each of us are different. We have different experiences, lifestyles, preferences, struggles, and goals. When we're trying to improve our health, the resources out there are inexhaustive, but none of them take into account your personal considerations. I'm here to do just that. I want to get to know you, understand your whole situation, and guide you towards realizing your goals in ways that work best for you.
Your first session with Megan
In our first session, I will prioritize learning all about you. We'll hit topics like sleep, activity, health overview, lifestyle, and obviously, food! We'll go through a 'day in the life' and you'll let me know what your top priorities are regarding your health. With this information, I'll create a personalized roadmap (with your help) that we will follow throughout our sessions. At the end of our first session, you'll walk away with clear, actionable steps to start working toward both your short-term and long-term health goals.

Education
Originally pursuing an Outdoor Education degree at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado, I ultimately leaned my true calling was to help others fuel their bodies and minds for both daily life and adventure. This led to obtaining a BS in Human Nutrition-Dietetics from Metropolitan State University of Denver.
Hobbies
When I'm not talking food, you're most likely to find me romping around the Rocky Mountains off-trail above tree line. If no luck there, I'll either be soaking in the sun with a John Steinbeck book, in the kitchen attempting to master a complex dish, or playing music on the front porch, coffee nearby, obsessing over a favorite song (probably in the americana/bluegrass genre).
