About Megan
Nutrition counseling combines my love of food with my passion for helping others in their pursuit of health and wellness. After graduating with a Masters in Nutrition at Hunter College, I continued at Hunter for the Dietetic Internship. My experiences include counseling a variety of conditions including diabetes, obesity, cancer and heart disease; teaching nutrition education classes to adults and children; and writing articles for media. I am also the founder of www.nourishedbite.com, a website geared at breaking down the latest in nutrition and wellness news and research.
Approach to care
I believe eating well, enjoying life and its indulgences, and staying active are key to long-term health. My approach focuses on realistic, sustainable habits that fit into everyday life. I work collaboratively with clients to create personalized plans that support their goals while honoring their preferences, lifestyle, and overall well-being.
Your first session with Megan
In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know you, your health history, and your current eating habits. We’ll talk through your goals and any challenges you’ve been facing, and I’ll help identify a few simple, realistic steps to get you started. You can expect a supportive, judgment-free conversation focused on creating a plan that fits your lifestyle.
