Approach to care
Megan's mission as a dietitian is to guide her patients in healing and optimizing their relationships with food and their bodies. She aims to provide each patient with nutrition knowledge, realistic evidence-based strategies, and agency in developing sustainable, health-promoting eating behaviors. Megan empowers her patients to make food choices that allow them to feel their best physically, mentally, and emotionally. She strives to create a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental counseling space for all.
Your first session with Megan
During our first session, we will discuss your nutrition-related concerns and goals, your nutrition and health histories, and other pertinent information that will guide our work together. We'll chat about topics outside of nutrition and get to know each other a bit, too. I can answer any questions you have about nutrition counseling or future sessions -- my goal is for you to feel comfortable and supported throughout our work together.
