About Megan
Hi , I am Megan and I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who loves helping people build healthy, sustainable relationships with food. I have a combination of culinary know-how and long-standing clinical expertise-so you get advice that is both evidence-based and doable. I truly believe there is no “bad” food-it is all about balance and moderation. I always say that I am food first because my first love was food. I have an extensive background in culinary arts, and it was my love of how ingredients work together naturally that led me to explore how food supports health. That practical culinary experience, combined with decades of clinical and community nutrition work, gives me a grounded, realistic perspective on meal planning, behavior change, and long-term success.
Approach to care
I specialize in weight management across the lifespan including the entirety of the menopausal experience as well as cardiac health, gut health, cancer and diabetes. I partner with my clients on their path to success, honoring that every person’s journey is unique. I blend science, empathy, and practical skills to create realistic, enjoyable approaches to eating that lasts.
Your first session with Megan
Our first session is a warm, low-pressure conversation about you. We’ll review your medical history, establish short-term goals, and do a deep dive into your relationship with food. This isn’t a test; it’s a collaboration designed to help you feel seen and supported. You don’t need to have everything figured out before we meet. We’ll identify what matters most and set 1 or 2 practical steps for the coming weeks, building a plan that fits your life and values.
