About Megan
With years of experience in private practice and clinical settings, I am a dedicated dietitian and results-oriented leader committed to empowering individuals with the tools they need to succeed in their nutritional journey. With a down-to-earth, realistic, and simple approach to nutrition, I believe moderation is key, and all foods can fit into a healthy diet. My counseling style primarily utilizes intuitive and mindful eating-based philosophies to help clients build a fundamental awareness of food and re-establish healthy food mindsets and relationships. I value the science behind nutrition while also recognizing that nourishment extends far beyond just the food itself. I completed my Bachelor’s in Nutrition/Dietetics at Montclair University, followed by my Master of Science Degree and Dietetic Internship in Nutrition at Saint Elizabeth University.
Approach to care
As a dietitian, my approach to care is rooted in the belief that nutrition should be individualized, practical, and empathetic. By meeting people where they are, understanding their unique needs, and empowering them with the tools to succeed, I help them make lasting changes that enhance their health and well-being. Ultimately, the goal is to foster a balanced and positive relationship with food that supports each person’s overall quality of life.
Your first session with Megan
In our first session together, my goal is to get to know you, your health, and your nutrition needs, and start creating a personalized plan. We’ll discuss your medical background, current health conditions, medications, and any relevant treatments to ensure my recommendations are safe for you. We will discuss eating habits and lifestyle, set attainable goals, and discuss barriers. I’ll provide tips, resources, and tools to help you make informed decisions about your food choices.
