About Megan

“I already ate a cookie, so I might as well finish the batch.” “I have no willpower—I’ll start again after the weekend.” …sound familiar? Hi, friend! I’m Megan, a Registered Dietitian and Board Certified Specialist in Obesity and Weight Management. In my 7+ years as an RD, I’ve worked from eating disorder care and corporate wellness to weight management. This depth of experience allows me to meet you where you are, without one-size-fits-all plans. I understand the science behind why bodies respond differently to food and weight loss, and why it’s genuinely harder for some people than others. Using that foundation, we’ll build habits that help you feel confident and at home in your body - you deserve that! A little about me: I live in Grapevine, TX with my husband and our two young kids. I’m active in my church, mom group, and humble rec center weight room. I love raising my family in a welcoming community and aim to foster that same sense of belonging in our nutrition sessions.

Approach to care

I focus on helping you see physical changes first while we reshape your mindset and internal dialogue around food so the results actually last. My approach blends objective, science-based guidance with real life—because freshly grilled chicken and roasted broccoli are great…until you have two minutes to eat before the baby wakes up or the toddler disappears with the step stool. Or until you’re completely burnt out on them. Together, we’ll marry nutrition science with everyday reality to create habits that work in your life—and lead to real, lasting changes in your body.

Your first session with Megan

Expect a judgment-free conversation where we'll explore your relationship with food, daily routines, and any patterns that matter. We'll dig into what has worked for you and what hasn't, with curiosity rather than blame, and together we'll establish a couple of short-term goals that feel achievable. You don't need to have everything figured out before we meet. I'll help translate our discussion into clear next steps rooted in science and matched to your life. Ready to “start again” for the last time? Click Book Now and let’s do it together. I’m excited to meet you soon!
