About Megan
Hi! With 2 years of experience working as an RD specializing in sports and performance nutrition, I can help you reach your nutrition goals. I like to meet my patients where they are at in their journey and work together to create attainable goals. I earned both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the University of Alabama (Roll Tide!) and have worked in the sports setting for 4+ years. I am passionate that food is fuel for your body and nutrition can be a gamechanger when it comes to your performance goals. Whether you are training for a marathon or wanting to live a healthier lifestyle, I want to help you get there.
Approach to care
I take a patient-centered approach because nutrition is not one-size fits all. I like to ask a lot of questions about your background, habits, and motivations to get an idea of our best approach together. I also believe that all foods can fit into a healthy lifestyle and do not like restricting entire food groups unless necessary.
Your first session with Megan
Let's get to know each other! Nutrition is so individualized, so getting to know you and your background, goals, and personality will help us make your plan specific to you. I also want you to get to feel comfortable sharing details with me so I want to be as open and honest as possible. I want to move on your timeline so we can go as slowly as you need in order to feel confident in our plan.
