About Megan
I have been a Registered, Licensed Dietitian for almost 20 years. I am dedicated to helping clients build healthy sustainable relationships with food. My journey in dietetics began with the belief that nutrition should be an empowering and positive experience, not a source of stress. After graduating from Bowling Green State University with a Master's in Nutrition, I spent my early career gaining experience in clinical nutrition working with diverse populations and complex health conditions. Over the years I refined my practice to focus on bridging the gap between clinical nutrition and application in real life. My mission is to empower clients to not only manage their condition but thrive by making nutrition an enjoyable part of life.
Approach to care
Together we will uncover what truly motivates you to live a healthier, more vibrant life. We will build the skills and self-efficacy you need to make sustainable lifestyle changes that feel empowering, not restrictive. Everyone's "why" for wanting to live a healthier life is personal. Uncovering your "why" can build a powerful foundation for building new habits. That is what we will focus on together.
Your first session with Megan
Our first session will be a comprehensive, non-judgmental discussion focused on your health/medical history, current lifestyle, and nutrition/wellness goals. I want to know about you so we can collaborate on setting individualized realistic and sustainable goals. This will set up a foundation to build on healthy changes in follow up appointments, but more importantly, in life.
