About Megan

Hi! I'm Megan and I'm originally from Virginia but i'm currently living in Hawaii. I received both my undergraduate and masters degrees from Virginia Tech (go Hokies!) and have been working as a Registered Dietitian and Certified Personal Trainer for 2 years. I am a foodie and love cooking, baking, and trying new restaurants and cafes!

Approach to care

As a Registered Dietitian, I support you in a way that honors your whole being—mind, body, and spirit. I believe nutrition is about more than what we eat; it’s about nourishing ourselves in a balanced, joyful, and sustainable way. My holistic approach focuses on intuitive eating, helping you listen to your body’s hunger and fullness cues without guilt or restriction. Movement is another key aspect, encouraging you to find enjoyable ways to move that celebrate your body’s capabilities. Ultimately, my goal is to help you cultivate a positive relationship with food and your body, focusing on self-empowerment, nourishment, and celebrating your body’s amazing abilities.

Your first session with Megan

In your first session with me I will ask questions to gain better understanding of where you are in your current health journey as well as understanding what has or has not worked for you in the past. We will dive into all behaviors including diet, sleep, activity levels, health history, medical conditions, medications, and allergies. We will touch on your current eating habits, food preferences, food patterns, and your relationship with your body and food. My focus is on supporting you as the individual in a non-judgmental, compassionate way to help you towards your specific goals.
