About Megan
Hello! My name is Megan, and I am a Registered Dietitian based in Pittsburgh, PA. I studied at WVU for my bachelor's degree and Messiah University for my master's degree, along with my dietetic internship. I love to cook and bake, and always love to hear about your fun new recipes! I also love dogs and have a dog named Draco. I can't wait to meet you and I am so excited to work with you on your nutrition goals!
Approach to care
I like to take a personalized, patient-centered approach to provide evidence based medical nutrition therapy to the patient to allow for positive and realistic outcomes. I meet patients where they are at and we build up from that foundation to meet personalized goals.
Your first session with Megan
You should expect to talk about some of your medical and nutrition history such as any relevant health conditions, dietary restrictions and preferences, past diets, and any other information related to diet. We will then go through your usual food intake and other lifestyle factors which will then be followed by discussion and education. We typically wrap up by coming up with some realistic goals to work on.
