About Megan
I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who teaches having a healthy relationship with food. I emphasize giving yourself permission to eat the foods you enjoy and trusting rather than controlling your body. I have a passion for body awareness and acceptance, the importance of family mealtime, and women's health.
Approach to care
I believe that all transformation comes from within. I see my role as your dietitian is to help you to be in touch with your heart to figure out what transformation you want. If you already know what you want, then my role is to help you get there. My goal for all of my clients is to have them have a happy relationship with their bodies and to nourish them approriately to reach a place of a health. I use traditional and non-traditional nutrition approaches to my practice. I individualize my approach to meet my clients' needs. The most important dimension of my practice is to listen to within.
Your first session with Megan
I acknowledge that it can be vulnerable to open yourself to someone and I want this to be a safe space for you. This is a supportive process characterized by collaboration. We will discuss your goals, then plan and implement behavior changes. Together we set create individualized action plans that are sustainable for you.
