About Meghan
Hi, I’m Meghan. I’m a Registered Dietitian with 15 years of experience and a Master of Health Sciences from Western Carolina University. I’ve worked across clinical and hospital settings, private practice, corporate wellness, community health, sports nutrition, and pediatric nutrition, including enteral and parental nutrition and eating disorders. I’m proud to bring an empathetic, holistic approach that honors HAES principles and meets you where you are. My practice is supported by my RD and LDN credentials, and I love how nutrition connects to every part of life. Outside the clinic, I practice yoga, read murder mysteries, spend time with my family, and enjoy planning with colorful felt tip pens.
Approach to care
My care philosophy is simple: we’ll work as a team, using current science and your lived experience to guide practical choices. I practice with an evidence-based, empathetic and warm approach, staying curious and nonjudgmental. We’ll set clear, doable steps and track progress together. I honor Health At Every Size and focus on behavior, nourishment, and well-being rather than a number on the scale. Holistic care means we consider sleep, stress, activity, and relationships as part of your health journey. I’ll help you understand the why behind recommendations so you can own your decisions.
Your first session with Meghan
Our first appointment is about you. We'll review your medical history, current routine, lab results or biometrics, and your short-term goals. This is a low-pressure, non-judgmental conversation where you can be honest about what works and what doesn't. We’ll discuss what matters most to you and outline 1-2 realistic steps to start with. You don’t need to have everything figured out ahead of time; we’ll learn together and set a plan that fits your life and values.
