Patient reviews
βMeghan is so kind, patient, and understanding. I started using nourish to help with the low FODMAP protocol, and was incredibly overwhelmed. Meghan has a very organized system, with easy to follow information. She guided me through each step of the process, reducing so much of the stress. She presents information in a way that is easy to understand and clearly backed by the most current research. I cannot recommend her enough!! β

About Meghan
Nice to meet you! My own nutrition journey began as a child with multiple food allergies. Because I always had to be aware of what I ate, it was only natural that I became more and more curious about what food can do for the body. Combine that with a passion for health sciences, and becoming a Dietitian was my dream job. As we see more and more diet-related health issues, nutrition continues to prove to be essential for not just a longer life, but a healthier + happier life. Think about it: we eat everyday, multiple times a day. It makes sense that food has a huge impact across all parts of our lifespan. Thatβs why I love working with people to create sustainable, healthy habits.
Approach to care
As a Dietitian with years of experience helping patients achieve health goals, my approach incorporates a few aspects: 1) The best care is patient-centered. We work TOGETHER to create a nutrition plan based on your unique needs, preferences, & circumstances. 2) Behavior change is hard work, which is why I'm here to support you. Learning WHAT you need to do is not always the hard part - figuring out HOW to implement change is the real challenge! I'll help you problem-solve, keep you accountable and motivated, and get you closer to your goals. 3) Empathy and respect is critical. Food, body image, and health concerns are very sensitive topics. I will provide a non-judgmental space for you.
Your first session with Meghan
Your first session will be spent delving into your health history, needs, and goals. This is where I learn the most about you! We use this session to create your nutrition plan. From there, follow-up sessions are used for accountability, motivation, and to adjust plans as needed. We can also do fun interactive activities like meal planning or cooking demos together - you let me know what you need! Usually I work with patients for at least a few months, spacing out sessions as needed.
