Patient reviews

  • Meghan is so kind, patient, and understanding. I started using nourish to help with the low FODMAP protocol, and was incredibly overwhelmed. Meghan has a very organized system, with easy to follow information. She guided me through each step of the process, reducing so much of the stress. She presents information in a way that is easy to understand and clearly backed by the most current research. I cannot recommend her enough!!

About Meghan

Nice to meet you! My own nutrition journey began as a child with multiple food allergies. Because I always had to be aware of what I ate, it was only natural that I became more and more curious about what food can do for the body. Combine that with a passion for health sciences, and becoming a Dietitian was my dream job. I love working collaboratively with patients to create sustainable, healthy habits.

Approach to care

My approach incorporates a few aspects: 1) The best care is patient-centered with shared decision making. We work TOGETHER to create a nutrition plan based on your unique needs, preferences, & circumstances - so be prepared to engage in our sessions. 2) Behavior change is hard work, which is why I'm here to support you. Learning WHAT you need to do is not always the hard part - figuring out HOW to implement change is the real challenge! I'll help you problem-solve, keep you accountable and motivated, and get you closer to your goals. 3) Empathy and respect is critical. Food, body image, and health concerns are very sensitive topics. I will provide a non-judgmental space for you.

Your first session with Meghan

Your first session will be spent getting to know you! Reviewing into your health history, needs, and goals. We use this session to create your nutrition plan. From there, follow-up sessions are used for accountability, motivation, and to adjust plans as needed. We can also do fun interactive activities like meal planning or cooking demos together - you let me know what you need! Usually I work with patients for at least a few months, spacing out sessions as needed. *Usual working hours: 9am-4pm EST Tuesday-Friday, with 5pm reserved for recurring patients *If you don't see an appointment time that works for you, please email me as I may have additional availability due to cancellations, meghan.pendleton@usenourish.com *If you have a special health condition to manage and want to make sure I work with it, please email me. I'll either confirm or help you find the right provider
