About Meghan

Hi, I’m Meghan, a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who takes a holistic, patient-centered approach to health and nutrition. Over the years, I have gained experience across a variety of clinical settings, including inpatient and outpatient care, with a focus on general nutrition counseling, chronic disease management, critical care/ICU, gut health, and enteral and parenteral nutrition. Growing up with a father who is a hematologist/oncologist shaped my early understanding of the relationship between nutrition and disease. Through my clinical training and professional experience, I have developed extensive knowledge of various disease states and the critical role nutrition plays in the prevention and management of chronic conditions. My passion lies in functional nutrition and partnering with clients to empower them with the tools they need to achieve their health and wellness goals.

Approach to care

I use a patient-centered, holistic approach to help support lasting lifestyle changes. I provide a non-judgmental and supportive environment as we work together to achieve your overall nutrition and health goals. Drawing on my clinical experience, my work is informed by thoroughly researched, evidence-based insights that guide my practices and techniques. Through this holistic framework, we may explore topics such as nutrition, sleep, stress, hydration, blood sugar balance, the microbiome, movement, mindfulness, and more. Functional nutrition is also a strong component of my practice, as certain foods provide far more benefits than we often realize.

Your first session with Meghan

During our first session, my main goal is to get to know you and learn about your health history, eating habits, current lifestyle, and any concerns or health goals you may have. I’d like to explore any previous approaches you’ve tried that were unsuccessful. I may ask a lot of questions; however, you are never obligated to answer anything you don’t feel comfortable sharing. There is no judgment here, and I want you to feel comfortable and in control of how the session goes. The more information you choose to share, the better I can understand the best pathway forward.
