About Meghan
Hi, I'm Meghan! I am a Sports Dietitian with experience working in a variety of settings including high school, collegiate, and professional athletics. I believe food is fuel and what we put into our bodies matters and contributes to our everyday well-being and performance. I am originally from Indiana, but attended Penn State University for both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Nutritional Sciences.
Approach to care
My care is client-centered. I work to create a welcoming, non-judgmental space to make my clients feel comfortable and at ease during our sessions. I focus on a whole-food nutrition approach, with realistic elements of flexibility and adaptability when it comes to making the food choices that work best for you, your well-being, and your body. Food is a cultural, social, everyday experience as well as it is fuel. I hope we can work together to help you find your own sense of balance and way of nutritional living that feels best for you!
Your first session with Meghan
In your first session, I would love to get to know you as a human being and how that relates to the nutritional goals that we have in mind throughout our day-to-day life. We will go through standard background information such as generalized client and nutrition information gathering, as well as discuss what approaches will work best for our sessions and goal setting moving forward. It's a time to get to know each other and see how we can begin and continue to make sustainable nutrition shifts to last a lifetime.
