Patient reviews

  • “It is so rare to find someone adamant about permitting yourself to make your own choices. Megrette is a wonderful human and dietician. I would ALWAYS recommend working with her. I also have ADHD, and she is very knowledgeable there to help put things into perspective for me personally. Again, she wants YOU to give your own permission to make your own decisions and gives you the runway to build that. “

  • “Attentive, insightful, patient kind, engaging dietitian. Megrette is helping me discover things about myself I never knew!“

  • “Amazing dietitian that helped me feel like I could definitely tackle the next steps on my healthy eating journey!“

About Megrette

Hi, I’m Megrette (she/her), a weight-inclusive registered dietitian and diabetes care and education specialist. I help folks untangle their relationship with food, manage blood glucose, and heal from diet culture. I’m a great fit if you're tired of restrictive advice and want a sustainable, compassionate approach to nutrition. I specialize in mindful eating, somatic nutrition, and trauma-informed care for people with prediabetes, diabetes, disordered eating, ADHD, and those navigating sobriety. I’ve co-authored several mindful eating books and send out a free, weight-inclusive newsletter for people with type 2 diabetes called No Weight Loss Required—you can subscribe to learn more about balancing blood sugar without dieting.

Approach to care

You don’t need another diet—you need someone who sees you. My approach is centered around curiosity, mindfulness, and humor. We’ll explore what’s already working, gently shift what’s not, and work together to build self-trust and body autonomy. I believe in “eat what you want, add what you need,” rather than rules or restriction. Clients describe our sessions as a calm, safe place to be seen and heard. I like using humor to make our sessions more enjoyable. My role is to help you feel empowered and supported—not judged or prescribed to. Together, we’ll discover what balanced, sustainable self-care means for you.

Your first session with Megrette

In our first session, I’ll do a lot of listening. We’ll talk about what’s working and what you’d like to change. Then we’ll co-create long-term goals that feel realistic and kind. Most clients walk away feeling heard, supported, and hopeful. One client said it best: “Megrette is so empathic and kind. She gets it.”
