About Melissa
Hello I am Melissa a Registered Dietitian, I graduated from Montana State University with a Master's Degree in Dietetic Systems and also hold two Bachelor's Degrees from the University of Arizona, one in Nutrition and one in Molecular and Cellular Biology. I have been working primarily with Solid Organ Transplant patients for the past 1.5 years. This role has led to working with patients with unique and individual needs mainly surrounding chronic diseases. My goal is to help you reach your goals and provide education and understanding to help manage chronic disease symptoms and live a happy, healthier life.
Approach to care
I like to use the first visit to understand a patient's needs and preferences. We will work on a plan together to accomplish specific goals. My approach is always person centered and evidence based. I can provide accountability and guidance on how to make small changes with the most benefit.
Your first session with Melissa
During our first session we will get to know each other and complete a comprehensive nutrition assessment to assess individual needs and goals in order to develop a personalized treatment plan.
