About Melissa
I have been a Registered Dietitian for more than 6 years. I graduated from West Chester University with a Bachelors and Masters degree in nutrition. I specialized in cancer nutrition for a large portion of her career thus far, but am well-rounded in many aspects of nutrition given my experience working in the acute care setting. I am looking forward to help guide you in your nutrition goals in ways that are both modifiable and maintainable for a lifetime!
Approach to care
My approach includes trying to meet you where you are. Starting with small changes that can build a sustainable lifelong intervention. I have a focus on obtaining nutrition through whole foods as much as possible.
Your first session with Melissa
In the first session, expect to set your reason and goals for meeting with a dietitian. I will also look to understand what motivates you to want to make these changes and determine methods of teaching that will best suit you.
