About Melissa
Hello! I’m a registered dietitian and Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor. My passion is helping clients feel better about food and their bodies. I have a Bachelor’s in Nutritional Sciences from Cornell University and completed the Cornell Dietetic Internship. I specialize in irritable bowel syndrome, acid reflux, disordered eating, high cholesterol, prediabetes, and digestive issues and I've worked in hospitals and long-term care with various health conditions. I care about providing non-judgmental, anti-diet, weight-inclusive care. Outside of nutrition, I love to dance and enjoy taking dance classes in NYC!
Approach to care
I provide compassionate, collaborative nutrition therapy tailored to each client. I'm committed to fostering a supportive environment for individuals to address nutritional concerns and cultivate a healthy relationship with food and body. I embrace body diversity and promote intuitive eating, self-care, and self-compassion. My mission is to dismantle harmful diet culture narratives and guide clients toward sustainable, nourishing, and joyful lifestyles that honor their unique needs. Through evidence-based practices and ongoing education, I empower individuals to reclaim their autonomy with food and redefine health on their own terms.
