About Melissa
Hi! My name is Missy. I’ve been a Registered Dietitian since 2019! After earning my MS in Exercise Science in 2015, I knew I wanted to become a dietitian to help people achieve their nutrition and fitness goals. As someone who has personally experienced the struggles of growing up overweight, along with developing an autoimmune disease at 21 years old, I felt that it was my calling to help others in similar shoes. Nothing makes me feel more fulfilled than being there for my clients and guiding them through their journey to a healthier and happier life!
Approach to care
I listen empathetically and take the time to get to know you. I strive to be your confidant and your teammate on your health journey! It’s important to me that you feel supported and understood as we work together. You are never alone, and I will be here every step of the way.
Your first session with Melissa
We will explore your entire history, including your thoughts and behaviors surrounding food and your health. Diving deep is the key to finding true solutions! There are often connections earlier in life that relate to how we view food and nutrition as an adult, but we will only explore that if or when you’re ready. Our sessions are led by you!
