About Melissa
I'm a registered dietitian with over 5 years of experience helping people use nutrition to support their health in realistic, sustainable ways. Since 2020, I've worked in major hospital systems, caring for patients from all backgrounds as they navigate chronic conditions and complex health challenges. I hold a Masterās degree in Nutrition and take an evidence-based approach to care, but I also know that real life isnāt lived in textbooks. Having navigated my own health challenges, I understand how important it is to work with a provider who truly listens and meets you where you are. I strive to bring that same empathy and understanding into every session.
Approach to care
My goal is for you to feel empowered, supported, and confident in the choices you make around food. I don't believe in strict rules, fad diets, or one-size-fits-all meal plans. Instead, we'll focus on what's practical for you and your lifestyle, and build habits that feel manageable and sustainable.
Your first session with Melissa
Our first session is all about you! We'll talk through your medical history, daily routines, and relationship with food in a judgement-free space. Together, weāll set realistic short and long-term goals and create a plan that supports meaningful, lasting progress.
