About Melissa

Overwhelmed by nutrition advice or struggling with pregnancy nausea, picky eaters, or health concerns? I understand how isolating these challenges feel. Growing up around my grandparents' San Diego garden taught me food's healing power—nutrition should nourish, not restrict. I specialize in family nutrition transitions: morning sickness, postpartum and breast/chest-feeding nutrition, baby's first foods, picky toddlers (including autism), plus adult digestive issues, diabetes, kidney disease, hypertension, allergies, and weight management. I've guided hundreds through these exact challenges with sustainable changes that transform how you feel daily.

Approach to care

My approach is different because I meet you exactly where you are. Instead of overwhelming you with dramatic changes, we'll start with small, realistic steps that fit into your actual life—not some idealized version of it. I want to understand what you've already tried, what worked, and what felt impossible, so we can build a plan that actually sticks.

Your first session with Melissa

When we work together, you can expect a judgment-free space where we move at your pace. I'll help you feel confident about making changes rather than anxious about "getting it right." By the end of our sessions, my goal is for you to feel empowered with practical tools and a clear path forward, knowing that lasting change happens one small step at a time. You deserve to feel energized, confident, and at peace with food. Let's work together to make that your reality.
