About Melissa
I'm a bilingual Latina Dietitian and diabetes educator with 9 years of experience in nutrition therapy. As a mom of two young children, I understand the real-life challenges of balancing health, family and career. I help busy individuals simplify nutrition, achieve weight loss goals and build confidence through sustainable, long-term lifestyle changes. My specialties include general health, renal disease, and diabetes, and my approach is practical, supportive, and tailored to your everyday life.
Approach to care
I work collaboratively with clients to create realistic, sustainable nutrition strategies that fit their lives. I aim to educate and empower my clients to build confidence in their food choices and to develop long term habits that support their overall health goals.
Your first session with Melissa
Your first nutrition session will be a supportive, judgment-free conversation focused on understanding YOU-not just what you eat. During our time together we'll explore your health history and lifestyle, your goals and concerns, your past experiences with food and diets, and your priorities. My approach is personalized and practical. After your first session, you will leave with clear next steps, personalized nutrition recommendations, and a deeper understanding of how your diet supports your health goals. Most importantly, you’ll have a plan that feels both achievable and supportive.
