Patient reviews
“Melissa is such an amazing dietician. She helped me navigate my time as a postpartum mom with lots of care, experience, and a gentle and informative approach to nutrition. She’s flexible in how you’d like your sessions to look - goal-oriented or conversational? - and really cares about her clients. Her background with WIC has given her a ton of knowledge in this area of nutrition. I highly recommend her if you’re looking for a dietician to help you through pregnancy, postpartum, and motherhood!“

About Melissa
My journey into nutrition began with a year of volunteer work in Ecuador, where I gained valuable insight into the importance of accessible and practical nutrition. Since then, I’ve focused my career on prenatal, postpartum, and child nutrition, providing individualized, evidence-based care to ensure long-term health and wellness. I'm mom to two amazing boys and love spending time outside with them, watching them build forts, play sports, or riding bike together. I currently live in South Florida. I was born and raised in central Minnesota and love going up to visit family and soak up the Minnesota Nice! I also lived in Georgia for a few years and still feel a piece of my heart there!
Approach to care
As a Registered Dietitian with over a decade of experience, I am passionate about helping busy individuals and families find sustainable, realistic ways to fuel their bodies. I understand the challenges of balancing busy lifestyles, which is why my approach centers on creating realistic, low-stress nutrition solutions. I strive to empower my clients with the knowledge and tools they need to nourish themselves and their families in a way that fits seamlessly into their lives.
Your first session with Melissa
Our first session together is all about getting to know you. This first session is the foundation for follow-up sessions. We will discuss your goals, your day-to-day life (work, home and leisure), your medical history, eating habits, and relationship with food and movement (completely free of judgement!). Our session will last about 60 minutes. Prior to meeting it can be helpful to write down questions or concerns you may have. In follow-up sessions we will discuss pressing challenges, collaborate to create a plan for improving nutrition through evidence-based and practical steps. Our visits will be a source of ongoing support, accountability and adjustments as needed based on goals and the curves life throws us. We will focus on keeping our plan stress-free while supporting your health no matter how busy life gets.
