About Melody

Hi, I’m Melody, a Registered Dietitian with over ten years of experience helping women improve their metabolism, gut health, hormone balance, and overall health through personalized nutrition. I studied at the University of Central Arkansas and Iowa State University, and have worked in clinical hospital settings, private practice, sports nutrition, community health, and integrative and functional health. I specialize in working with women who feel stuck despite doing everything right—whether that’s struggling with low energy, digestive symptoms, hormone imbalances, weight changes, or feeling disconnected from their body. My approach combines evidence-based nutrition with a physiology-focused lens, helping identify and address the underlying factors affecting your health. Together, we’ll create a realistic, sustainable plan tailored to your body, lifestyle, and goals, so you can feel better and build long-term confidence in your nutrition.

Approach to care

My care philosophy is to meet you where you are and create a plan that works with your body, lifestyle, and goals. I take a comprehensive, individualized approach, looking at factors like metabolism, digestion, hormones, stress, sleep, and daily routines to understand the full picture of your health. Rather than using restrictive or one-size-fits-all plans, I focus on helping you build sustainable habits that support your energy, digestion, metabolism, and overall wellbeing. I’ll help you understand how nutrition affects your body so you can make informed, confident choices without relying on rigid rules. My goal is to provide supportive, practical guidance that fits your real life and helps you create meaningful, lasting change.

Your first session with Melody

Your first session is a supportive, low-pressure conversation focused on getting to know you. We’ll review your health history, current eating patterns, lifestyle, and goals, and talk through any symptoms or challenges you’ve been experiencing. From there, we’ll identify key areas to focus on and begin creating a personalized plan that feels realistic and manageable. I’ll provide clear, practical recommendations tailored to your needs and preferences. By the end of the session, you’ll have a better understanding of your body and 1 to 2 specific steps you can begin implementing right away. Ongoing sessions will build on this foundation, helping you make steady progress with guidance, accountability, and adjustments along the way.
