About Meredith
Iâm a nutrition therapist and registered dietitian, and I help people untangle from dieting, disordered eating, body struggles, and the âfood rulesâ or binge eating that steal joy from eating. My work is all about helping you feel more at ease in your body and more confident around foodâwithout obsession, guilt or feeling out of control. I work with folks navigating disordered eating, people on GLP-1 medications who need support with eating well, and especially enjoy working with women (and folks with other marginalized gender identities) moving through perimenopause and menopause. These are all times when nutrition can feel extra confusing (thanks, diet culture đ), and Iâm here to help you sort through the noise. Imagine a world world where you feel good about yourself â and your health and self-worth are not defined by your weight, shape, or size!
Approach to care
My style is relational, casual, and tailored to you. Love a workbook? Great! Hate âhomeworkâ? No problemâweâll keep it conversational and try gentle experiments. I bring compassion, curiosity and accountability to every session, and affirm all lived experiencesâacross gender identity, neurodiversity, and body size. I take a holistic approach, and look at the full picture of your lifeânot just nutrition. Most importantly, I practice from a weight-inclusive lens: Iâll never prescribe weight loss, though I respect body autonomy. If youâre on a GLP-1 medication for weight loss and struggling to eat enough, Iâll guide you with a structured eating plan to support your nutrition. If you're working through disordered eating, I lean on Intuitive Eatingâhelping you reconnect with hunger, fullness, and trust in your body. At the core, I believe you were born knowing how to eat and care for yourself. You may have been pulled away from that, but together we can help you get back to it!
Your first session with Meredith
The first session is all about *you.* Think of it as a judgment-free conversation where I get to know you. (But seriouslyâno judgement!). Weâll talk about your relationship with food and your body, your health background, your goals, and what feels hardest right now. Iâll listen, ask questions, and start sketching out a path that makes sense for your life. Youâll leave with clarity about next steps, a sense of direction, and the reassurance that you donât have to figure this out alone.
