About Meredith

Meredith is a clinical dietitian originally from Knoxville, Tennessee where she received her bachelors and masters degree in clinical nutrition. After completing a dietetic internship, she began her career at a Level 1 trauma center where she gained experience in a wide range of diseases and conditions. Throughout her 10-year career, Meredith has worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings and is passionate about providing world-class care.

Approach to care

Meredith understands that nutrition is not a one-size-fits-all approach. She specializes in chronic disease management such as heart disease, diabetes, CKD, weight management, and digestive disorders. She works collaboratively with clients to provide evidence-based strategies and tools to achieve nutrition-related goals. With a patient-first approach, Meredith tailers her approach to each client, respecting their choices while working on improving nutrition-related measures.

Your first session with Meredith

In an initial session, Meredith prefers to gather information regarding diet, lifestyle, and other factors that may affect health and nutrition. She will take a dietary recall, review any relevant lab or medications, and relevant aspects of each person's health. She reviews client goals and provides education and recommendations for initial steps. Each session concludes with setting 2-3 goals and plans for following up.
