About Meredith
Hi! I'm Meredith, a Registered Dietitian (RD) who believes nutrition should feel supportive, realistic, and personal - never restrictive or complicated. I earned my Master's degree in Dietetics and nutrition from The Ohio State University in 2025 after completing my Bachelor's degree in Nutrition at West Virginia University. My education gave me a strong foundation in evidence-based medical nutrition therapy, and I've carried that forward into every area of my work. Regardless of the goal, I aim to make nutrition practical, approachable, and realistic. One of my favorite parts about being an RD is learning each person's story. I value connection and strive to create a space where you feel heard, supported, and encouraged. Whether youâre managing a chronic condition or simply trying to feel better dayâtoâday, Iâm here to walk alongside you and help you make meaningful progress at a pace that feels right for you.
Approach to care
Food should fit your life, not the other way around. I use evidenceâbased nutrition practices, meaning everything I recommend is grounded in current research and tailored specifically to your health needs, preferences, and personal circumstances. My goal is to support your wholeâperson wellâbeing, helping you build habits that improve not only physical health but also your relationship with food, your mental health, your confidence, and your overall quality of life. Most importantly, I strive to create a safe, welcoming, and nonâjudgmental space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered. Whether youâre managing a chronic condition or simply trying to feel better dayâtoâday, Iâm here to walk alongside you and help you make meaningful progress at a pace that feels right for you.
Your first session with Meredith
Your first session will feel like a relaxed, judgmentâfree conversation where we take the time to truly get to know each other. Weâll talk about your dayâtoâday routine, your relationship with food, and what goals feel most meaningful to you. Iâll also review any medical history, lab work, or biometrics you bring so I can understand the full picture of your health. Together, weâll walk through what a typical day of eating looks like and identify any habits or patterns youâd like to adjust. You donât need to have everything figured out beforehandâIâm here to listen to your wins and challenges, answer questions, and help you make sense of the information in a clear, encouraging way. By the end of our session, weâll identify one to two realistic shortâterm goals and outline practical next steps that fit comfortably into your lifestyle. My aim is for you to leave feeling supported, confident, and ready to take the first step toward sustainable, longâterm progress.
