About Michaela
Hi, I’m Michaela, a compassionate dietitian with over five years of experience who truly understands the challenges of health and wellness because I’ve been there myself. After struggling with my own health, I found healing and balance through nutrition; a journey that inspired me to help others reclaim their well-being in a way that feels sustainable and supportive. I specialize in weight management, intuitive eating, GLP-1 medications, emotional and stress eating, and women’s health (including menopause). I also help clients heal their relationship with food, especially after restrictive dieting, so they can enjoy food without guilt or fear. My goal is to guide you with kindness and understanding, empowering you to develop a healthy relationship with food and your body, no matter where you are on your journey. Together, we’ll create a plan that fits your life and supports your goals, one step at a time.
Approach to care
I believe nutrition should feel like a lifestyle, not rigid rules or quick fixes. My approach is compassionate and personalized because health is never one-size-fits-all. I’m here to meet you where you are and help you make sustainable changes that feel realistic and empowering. Together, we’ll focus on progress over perfection and find what works best for your life. When working with me, you’ll get a supportive space to build a balanced relationship with food, guidance tuned to your unique needs, and a judgment-free environment where you feel truly heard. Whether you’re dealing with emotional eating, managing a health condition, or just want more control over your habits, I’ll guide you every step of the way. We’ll also explore other wellness factors like sleep, stress, movement, and meal timing to support your whole well-being.
Your first session with Michaela
Our first session is all about getting to know you, your health history, habits, goals, and challenges. This is a judgment-free space where you can be honest and feel heard. We’ll discuss: | Medical history and current concerns | Eating patterns, preferences, and routines | Relationship with food and body image (if relevant) | Lifestyle factors like stress, sleep, movement, and support | What success looks like for you | By the end, you’ll have: A clear plan with realistic, personalized goals that fit your life. I get it, seeing a dietitian can feel a little intimidating! But don’t worry, I’m here to make it feel easy, open, and totally judgment-free. Nutrition isn’t just science; it’s personal, and your journey deserves a space that feels supportive and real.

Hobbies
When I’m not working with clients, you’ll usually find me out walking my two dogs, breaking a sweat at the gym, or trying a new workout class just for fun. I love curling up with a good book, exploring local coffee shops and thrift stores, or getting lost in a great health and wellness podcast. I’m also a big fan of nature walks, and when I’m home, you’ll often catch me out in the backyard, getting creative with landscaping!
