About Michel
I have been a Registered Dietitian since 2007 working in the clinical setting. I have extensive experience in nutrition education as well as nutrition prescription and modification. I have worked with many different patient populations including diabetes, kidney and liver disease, GI issues, oncology, weight loss and gain, surgery recovery, pregnancy and postpartum.
Approach to care
I am a realist. I like to help my patients figure out how to make nutrition fit into their lives and also be sustainable. I love the idea of moderation. I feel that food and eating can and should be pleasurable as well as nutritious and healing. I realize life and its challenges can make healthy eating more difficult at times. I like to strive for progress and implementable and sustainable lifestyle changes that bring balance vs. strict, extreme and unrealistic overhauls, which are often overwhelming and bound to fail.
Your first session with Michel
At our first session, we will get to know each other. I will ask questions about your medical history, nutrition goals or needs, as well as discuss ways that we can work together to help you accomplish your wellness goals. I have a laid back approach and hopefully can quickly set you at ease. Would love to help you navigate nutrition and your health.
