About Michelle
I am a registered dietitian with over 20 years of experience working inpatient and outpatient settings. I bring both expertise and enthusiasm to my work. I love what I and find it very rewarding to help people build healthier and more confident relationships around food.
Approach to care
I focus on listening and understanding what matters most to you. This includes your health concerns, daily routines, cultural influences, personal preferences, and past experiences with food and nutrition. Everyone is different; has different needs and wants. Together, we identify realistic, achievable goals that feel manageable and sustainable rather than overwhelming and restrictive. I emphasize practical strategies that fit into your real life. I believe in progress not perfection
Your first session with Michelle
The first session focuses on reviewing your goals and expectations of our time together as well as your health concerns, nutrition history, and current diet and activity habits. I will provide nutrition education, answer questions and provide practical guidance tailored to your needs. Ending the session with coming up with some realistic goals for you to work on for the next session.
