About Michelle
With 8 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian, I specialize in supporting families through every stage of life. I offer personalized nutrition guidance for infants, children, pregnant women, and those in the postpartum period. I work with children receiving tube feeding (enteral nutrition) and those with food allergies, intolerances, cardiac conditions, and GI disorders. During pregnancy, I help manage gestational diabetes, blood pressure concerns, anemia, and common GI issues like nausea, vomiting, constipation, and heartburn. In the postpartum period, I provide support for recovery and adjustment to life with a newborn, focusing on nutrition to support both your well-being and breastfeeding, if you're nursing. I also work with individuals managing high blood pressure, and those seeking to live a healthier lifestyle, offering evidence-based nutrition support to help you meet your unique goals.
Approach to care
My practice is rooted in a health at every size approach, focusing on compassionate, evidence-based care that honors the unique needs and lived experiences of each individual-no judgement, guilt, or rigid rules. I take the time to understand your lifestyle, preferences, and goals to create realistic, sustainable plans that support long-term health and well being. When Iām not working, Iām a self-proclaimed foodie who loves to cook. I believe food can be both nourishing and enjoyable. Itās all about finding that balanceācreating meals that fuel your body and satisfy your taste buds. I bring this passion into my practice, helping my clients embrace delicious, wholesome meals that work for their bodies and lifestyles. Whether youāre managing a chronic condition, feeding a child with (or without) complex medical needs, or navigating pregnancy or postpartum, Iām here to help you make informed, confident decisions about nutrition for you and your family.
Your first session with Michelle
During your first appointment with me, Iāll take the time to get to know you, your unique needs, and your health goals. We'll start by discussing your current health and nutrition habits, any challenges you're facing, and your specific concerns. Iāll also review any recent lab work (if available) or medical history to help guide our discussion. Throughout our session, youāll receive a safe, non-judgmental space where your individual experiences are honored. This first session I am really wanting to get to know you! You can expect to get a short term action plan, with future sessions building out a personalized roadmap. I want you to feel empowered to make informed, confident decisions about nutrition for you and your family.
