About Michelle

Hi! My name is Michelle and I am dedicated to helping you achieve your health & wellness goals through personalized nutrition guidance. I have over 5 years of experience empowering people of all ages & backgrounds to do the same. My journey into dietetics was driven by my desire to combine my interest in human body function/performance with my commitment to improving the lives of others. I specialize in heart health, diabetes, gut health, weight management, eating disorders, and am board certified as a Sports Dietitian. I have spent over 4 years in the Army, so I also specialize in tactical, military & veteran populations. I am eager to take on new clients & cannot wait to work with you!

Approach to care

I believe in a holistic, evidence-based, and client-centered approach to nutrition. I want to understand you as an individual including your lifestyle, needs, preferences and challenges, and then with that, create a solid nutrition plan that is both realistic and sustainable. The journey is about you. Think of me as a food therapist. A trusty ally and motivator there to guide you and provide you with the latest knowledge to ultimately improve your eating behaviors, create healthy habits and improve your relationship with food and your body.

Your first session with Michelle

This session is really an opportunity for us to get to know each other, and for you to share your expectations, wants, needs and concerns. We will start with a comprehensive assessment of your current health, eating habits, lifestyle, and goals. I’ll ask questions about your medical history, dietary preferences, and any challenges you’ve faced with nutrition in the past. Then by the end of our meeting, and with your help, I plan to outline a personalized plan with achievable goals tailored to your needs.
