About Michelle
Hi, I’m Michelle! I help people reconnect with their bodies, break free from restrictive food rules, and transform their mindset for lasting well-being. My own journey involved chasing worth through control, extreme exercise, and restriction, leading to injury, the female athlete triad, and an eating disorder. Weightlifting felt like the solution, but fear still drove me, and my identity was tied to performance, not self-love. Eventually, my body forced me to stop—bedridden and depleted, I had to rebuild my life from the ground up. Through intuitive eating and shifting subconscious patterns, I learned to trust my body, listen to its cues, and heal fully. Now, I guide clients navigating eating disorders, performance nutrition, digestive issues, and general wellness, addressing root causes, not just symptoms, helping them return to wholeness—mind, body, and soul.
Approach to care
Today, I blend clinical expertise with holistic, spiritual tools to help others break free from the same vicious cycles because you don’t have to do it alone. You need to want to make change but it does not need to be done alone. My approach is integrative and heart-centered, drawing from meditation, mindfulness, intuitive and mindful eating, trauma-informed care, nervous system regulation, embodiment practices, parts work (IFS), shadow work, and mindset shifting.
Your first session with Michelle
Your first session is all about understanding you—your history, goals, challenges, and current relationship with food, movement, and your body. We’ll explore patterns, beliefs, and habits that may be holding you back, and begin identifying the root causes of your struggles. Expect a compassionate, judgment-free conversation where your experiences are truly seen and heard. Together, we’ll start creating a personalized approach that blends practical tools, intuitive strategies, and mindset work to help you feel more empowered, aligned, and confident in your body and choices.
Education
My journey began in clinical nutrition as a registered dietitian. I earned my Bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and my Master’s degree from NYU. That’s where I built my foundation in nutrition – the science, the macros, the plans. But after a profound awakening, I realized that true healing goes far beyond what we eat. It’s about how we feel, how we think, and how deeply we trust our inner wisdom.
Hobbies
Outside of my work, I am a world traveler, facing my fears with courage, and embracing life as an ever-unfolding adventure. You'll find me hiking new trails, engaging with the flows of nature, singing and speaking from my heart, learning new skills, cooking, reading, engulfing myself into new cultures, and connecting with many people and friends. I believe in living fully, creating freely, and letting the world be my teacher.
