About Michelle
Ten years working in hospitals and private practice taught me that nutrition counseling is as much about people as it is about food. As a Registered Dietitian, I combine clinical training with one-on-one practice to build plans that fit real life. I recharge with reading, hiking, pilates, and family time, which keeps my work practical, curious, and grounded.
Approach to care
Evidence matters, but so does kindness. I translate current research into clear, practical steps we'll try together, focusing on sustainable habits rather than quick fixes. You’ll find a warm, nonjudgmental space where I listen first and teach along the way, so you gain tools to make informed choices. I take a weight-neutral, behavior-focused view and look at sleep, stress, movement, and emotional wellbeing to create plans that fit the whole person.
Your first session with Michelle
We’ll begin by reviewing your medical history and any lab work or biometrics you can bring, so we see the full picture together. From there we’ll talk about what feels realistic for your life and set one or two short-term goals to get momentum. This is a low-pressure, judgment-free conversation, so you don’t need to have everything figured out. You’ll leave with clear, practical next steps and a plan we can adjust as we learn what works.
